One of CHIRS own mentors, Lorraine M. received an Ontario Volunteer Service Award! The Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries (“the Ministry”) recognized Lorraine for a 5 years award for continued services with North York Seniors Centre - Central Administration. CHIRS started a partnership with our neighbour, The North York Senior Centre a number of years ago to find innovative ways to connect local Seniors and our clients. It is so wonderful when we can celebrate the benefits that have come from this connection. Well done and congratulations Lorraine.
