A Dog's Diary

Last week during the program "Spill-the-Tea" we had a writing exercise where the clients had to write from the point of view of his or her pet. Brett T. shared this hilarious letter from the point of view of his dog from the time the family left him at a dog kennel.

A Letter to the Owner

From: Their Pet

"Dear Diary. My people sent me to jail for the week; there were so many bad dogs that I couldn’t sleep more than 10 hours per day. When they finally brought me home, the one they call Julia, which is the only one I really like, still wasn’t there. I slept under her bed, I’ll be okay.”
