Thursday November 11th marked Canadian Remembrance Day. What a time to self-reflect, show gratitude, and harvest the blessings of Canadian history. Julie, our Recreation Coordinator at the Aldebrain residence had the wonderful idea of creating an organic Remembrance Day wreath to bring the clients and staff together to capture the essence of the day. With the group effort of many helping hands, they created a meaningful and unique wreath to commemorate the occasion and share their respects. It went a little something like this:
All hands on deck!
Ciara displays her creative gift by multi-tasking between cutting out the hands for leaves and making free-hand poppies
Jeff remembers the importance of this day as he glues together the poppies
David, a salute to our soldiers
Leonard is always up to offer a helping hand!
Complete at last! Thank you to all those who contributed a helping hand to make this project come to life
