On Thursday April 9th, the clients and staff at CHIRS came together to celebrate Arts & Appies Evening, a magical evening of expression and creativity. This special event truly demonstrated how the power of art brings people together, with the room radiating energy and appreciation for one another. The incredible turnout of friends, family, and supporters made it clear how meaningful this event really was.

For Arts & Appies, the basement was transformed into a vibrant showcase of talent. Clients proudly shared their artwork, along with the personal stories and connections behind each piece. Guests had the opportunity to explore the interactive gallery, engage with the artists, and celebrate the diverse forms of expression that make our community so special.

Of course, the “appies” were just as much a highlight as the art. Up in the club, a delicious spread of finger foods added a warm, social element to the evening, giving everyone a chance to mingle and enjoy the experience together. The atmosphere was both uplifting and inspiring, with moments of lively conversation, as well as quiet appreciation for the performers, who shared a wide range of talents—from creative writing and poetry to music and performance.

Arts & Appies was a true success, made possible by the incredible efforts of many. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the artists who bravely shared their work, the performers who brought the evening to life, and the staff and volunteers who contributed to planning, preparing, and setting up the event. Your efforts made the evening not only possible, but truly unforgettable.
