INNISFIL BEACH

Calling all beach-lovers! If you’re looking for an accessible, beautiful beach close to Toronto, you’re in luck! A group of CHIRS adventurers headed out to Innisfil Beach for a relaxing beach day and had the best time! Located just an hour and a half outside of Toronto, this location features a beautiful view of Lake Simcoe, a sandy area for lounging, and a lovely grassy area perfect for a picnic. Within close proximity, there is an accessible public restroom and an accessible outdoor workout area. There are also paved paths that lead you down to the grass, and to where the sand starts. We were able to easily find a shady place to set up camp – a necessity on these hot summer days! Our CHIRS adventurers had a fantastic time picnicking, playing games, and dipping our toes in the water!
