A CHIRS Valedictorian Speech

Our picnic this year had the theme of "Caps in the Air" so, naturally, we needed a Valedictorian. Here is the speech Neil D. wrote and presented at the picnic.

Change

How have things changed?

What things have really changed?

What still is desperately wanting to

Yes my friends change is key

My walking has changed

Gotten easier over time

Also thinking has strengthened

Like all of ours do each day

What change do we need to do still?

What improvement do we want to focus on?

Only our minds can tell us

Once the final choice has been made

So my friends

My fellow travellers

Let’s continue to change each day

As the limit is limitless once we make it so
